Referral Process
We accept self referrals from individuals as well as referrals from other professionals and family members however these referrals must be with the express consent of the individual being referred. Referrals can be taken in person at our premises, over the phone or via mail.
Triage assessment The Zone
offers drug and/or alcohol users the opportunity to come in to our base
premises for an assessment. During this
assessment your needs will be discussed and information taken regarding you
substance use. From here you will be
referred on to all relevant agencies who you want to support you with your
care, you can also remain with The Zone and access some services through us. This is the preferred method for drug users
to access addiction services for substitute prescribing and detox and alcohol
users to access detox. Partnership working
We work
very closely with colleagues from other drug and alcohol services both
voluntary and statutory as well as other statutory services including social
work, criminal justice and community education and have good links with health
service providers. If we are unable to
fully support your needs within our service with your permission we are able to
signpost and refer you on to appropriate services to meet your needs.
